In my journeys  across England ,I've visited  so many  beautiful  little villages  like  Cockermouth  in Cumbria, Rye  in Sussex, Lavenham  in Suffolk  and  so many others. Last week  I wrote  about the  beautiful  Cornwall  villages .Cotwolds  with it stunning  village structures  and iconic  stone buildings  with  beautiful  lavender gardens  strikes  as a place with  breathtaking beauty  architectural  landscapes that  must  be  seen  by everyone. England's most iconic beautiful small villages, includes the Cotswolds' Castle Combe and Bilbury, known for their picturesque stone cottages and scenic beauty. Castlecomb  is  mostly  known  as  "the prettiest village in England,"  with its  featured idyllic stone cottages, colourful wildflowers, and a charming river running through , while Bilbury is   known for its stunningly beautiful stone cottages, like Arlington Row, which is a classic example of Cotswold's architecture. Britain has so many  villages  with  cottages  made of stone  walls , which dates back to ancient  times  and  this  feature  makes  British villages  not only endearing, but fascinating. For  those  who  like history  ,the  stone homes, some of  which  date   back as far as early century   AD ,make  one to  wonder  about what  life  looks like  in those  days ,the  builders /architects  who designed  these villages and how they managed to come out  with  such an  enduring concept like engraving stones  into walls, that make buildings to stand the  test of time.No cold chill winter  nor hot summer heat, can melt  the stone walls nor shake the  foundations of these buildings, with many  leaving the buildings  to stay the way  they were,  during the great  grandma's times. Each  of these  buildings  give  you  a glimpse  of  ancient  lifestyles  and  most times nothing much  in  their architectures  have changed,  even though building   technology technology  has  moved on and  to  a  brand new  level of modern  grand designs.

Tourist Attractions in the Cotswolds

Cotswold's   tourist attractions  show the  beauty of  its countrysides, historic sites full of places  showcasing  great  British heritage. Visitors can  visit  grand estates like Blenheim Palace and other landmarks like Sudley  castle  and  Cotswold's lavender. The region offers a variety of experiences, from the breath-taking views at Broadway Tower to the serene landscapes of Westonbirt Arboretum. There  are also family-friendly attractions like the Cotswold  wildlife Park  which provides fun for all ages, while people  who like history could  visit Gloucester Cathedral. Whether you like its beautiful  country sides, historic buildings  or  the modern sides of the  villages, the Cotswolds has something for every visiting  tourist.Other  beautiful places to visit in Cotswold are 270climbing park,Abbey home farm, Bournton house garden,Berkeley castle and gardens, Chavenage house,Gloucester cathedral, Hawkstone brewery Tours,Cotwords distillery, broadway Tower,The Thames Path,British motor museum and  Cotswold's  lavender, Cotswolds  garden Park,Cotswold Falconry Centre & Birdland  and Cotswold canal  trust. There  are  so   many places to explore while in Cotswolds and the  list  remains  endless. The Cotswolds is famous for its pretty villages, full of honey-stone cottages, climbing roses and winding lanes. Some are polished and popular, others are quieter and more lived-in, but they all share that distinct charm the region is known for.But a visit to  Cotswold  will give  you a  glimpse  of what life in  rural  Britain  is-Posh,elegant,stylish  but  with  those sceneries  of  running water brooks surrounded  by stones  and nature  the trees  with exotic birds  singing and  flying ,fields  full of flowers  with  assorted colours  and bloom.Cotswold is one of the places  full of natural  reserves  and its  beauty  remains  endless.

Cotswold's  lavender

Is  a family farm  located  on  Cotsworld hills  and is one of  the most  beautiful places  to

visit  in the  countryside.Lavender flowers has been grown in the farm for the last 25 years and it loves the free draining limestone soils. The farm produces the highest quality lavender essential oils. It has around 35 different varieties of lavender covering approximately 45 acres of the farm. The acreage of commercial lavender has reduced slightly over the last two years. This is due to some plants coming to the end of their productivity and fields need a break period before they can be replanted with lavender. The public display fields of lavender and wildflowers remain as wonderful as ever.

The best places to  visit in the Cotswolds are the famous market towns like Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Burford, known for their bustling High Streets and historical  beauty. Tourists looking  for iconic sights should see Bibury for Arlington Row and the calm villages of Lower and Upper Slaughter  to see picturesque  sights. For those wanting a more active experience, Winchcombe is a place to visit  for walking, and sites like Broadway Tower  have very  beautiful countryside views.
