The UK-based airline Virgin  Atlantic, which  started  its  London  Heathrow  and Bangaluru  route   in March 2024, will  make its   flights more frequent  from 7 to 11 per week in January, February and March.

Virgin Atlantic said that its Indian  business  is growing faster  hence the need for  the frequency of flights.It operates  a  double-daily flights from Heathrow to both Delhi and Mumbai and has partnership with Indian  career Indigo  .

According to Juha Jaervinen, Virgin’s chief commercial officer  “We’re delighted to be strengthening our Bengaluru service, reflecting strong customer demand and our continued commitment to India  for   Virgin Atlantic.

The airline will add its extra Heathrow-Bengaluru flights  to be on  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 5 January to 28 March, with the  Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft enroute. This should be  an  uplifting news  for  Sir  Richard  Branson  who  recently  expressed his  sadness  over the  loss of his  wife .

The  holiday season is by the corner and many  have started making preparations to travel.But  the air hostesses  are  very important  in making sure that  every traveller  makes  a beautiful  journey.Training  to become  an air hostess and making  a career  choice  that  involves  constant  travel  is one of the daunting tasks  of  a life time.Deciding to be on the air  every week  is not for the  fainthearted.When I see the air hostesses  in the city ,I  see super humans  performing  one of the  most daunting tasks  with the pilots to  make travel  easy.The  air hostesses  make travel  a  delight  and they  help to  keep  people  safe while they are in the aeroplane. They  walk  around to make sure that  people are  comfortably sited  and if people  are unruly  they speak to them politely  and help to escort  them out of the train. Their duties also  include pre-flight checks of safety equipment, briefing passengers on safety procedures, and assisting them with boarding and seating. In-flight, they serve food and drinks, answer questions, sell duty-free items, and respond to passenger requests or speak to everyone during  emergencies. They also make sure that the cabins  are always  clean.They make sure that there are no dirty toilets  facilities  or tissues  everywhere. They attend pre-flight briefings with the pilots to get important information about the flight, such as weather forecasts and any special passenger needs.They greet passengers before  boarding  and help them with finding their seats and storing their luggage.They help  in conducting safety demonstrations and explain the use of safety equipment, such as seat belts, oxygen masks, and life vests.They make sure that people are not hungry  by Serving meals, snacks, and beverages to passengers  during  flight.They  help  the airlines  to sell duty-free items and manage payments. They answer passenger questions and perform duties like directing them to  the toilets.They provide first aid to passengers who need  it.They also handle difficult situations  like fire,evacuations  of passengers  before emergency  landings.They  also  escort  passengers with special needs,  the elderly, those with disabilities, or little children to settle comfortable  in the aeroplane. They are part of the group of people  doing the hardest jobs with ease and grace  because  they mostly  love their  jobs  ,because only few people like the inconvenience  of needing  to fly daily which they are doing.Most times people  see the ladies  as pretty women  in a very  beautiful  job  or models attending to people  in aeroplanes  but they are people  working  as  everything to keep everyone comfortable  during flights.

The  festive period is here  and many  cannot wait  to be off work after  a year  of  endless  toilings. -These are the reasons why  people  like to meet  humans  in shops and offices  to get travel  advice,help to explain options  and hidden costs  and help them  to  get the best options available.Some may  want to speak to the agents who will  encourage them to make their journeys  as  they might  have fear  of travelling  using the airplanes.But whatever option one is travelling with,it is good to see the experts  who  know everything about travel  and there  is nothing  bad in booking  ones  flight  while  sipping  a cup of tea or orange juice  sitting comfortable in ones home.
